HerpBase is a record keeper for people who keep reptiles: feeding plans, thaw lists, weights, sheds and racks for a collection of five animals or five hundred. Built together with a working reptile shop.
What it does
- Feeding plans by interval, days since the last meal or weekdays, with a thaw → offer → confirm chain where only a confirmed feed counts
- Refusals and weight loss flagged on the home screen; weights with trends, sheds and health records
- Visual racks as drawer grids coloured by need, with printable, scannable QR labels
- Breeding records — pairings, clutches, follicles and lineage — with genetics odds only for declared traits
- Works offline on every screen, with sync, spreadsheet import and full export
Built with
Expo and React Native, offline-first: a local SQLite database is the source of truth on the device, with Supabase for accounts and sync. No ads, no tracking and no analytics.
Status
HerpBase is live on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, free while in testing, with Android coming to Google Play. Read more: HerpBase, a reptile husbandry app.
